Our Breeding Program

Our commercial Angus cattle have been specifically bred and hand-picked to produce lean, tender, and tasty beef! Many of the cattle that are harvested each year are third or fourth generation animals in our program. Years of intentional genetic selection and months of calculated feeding go into each animal that is selected for harvest.

Our Product

Every animal that is harvested for consumption at The Niehus Ranch is home-raised, insuring that the meat you purchase will be antibiotic free, growth hormone free, and steroid free. Beef can be purchased in 1/4, 1/2 or whole increments.

Our Management Practices

Cattle are raised in a safe and comfortable environment, where they are cared for daily by the Niehus Family. We strive to provide quality, grass pastures for grazing, clean water for drinking, and implement low stress methods when handling.

Preaching from the Pasture

Susie Niehus is an ordained minister who thoroughly enjoys sharing God's Word through her personal experiences on the ranch, as a mother and a minister. In concurrence with her role in the cattle business, she is also an accomplished equestrian. Her light-hearted humor, paired with her love for the Lord and ability to tell a great story are just a few of the qualities that make her speaking style exceptional.
